Need to update the Wi-Fi settings on your Kodak PIXPRO camera? Whether you want to change the password or customize the network name of your camera (SSID), it's easy to do. Follow the steps below for your specific camera model:
Changing the Wi-Fi Password
You can easily generate a new, randomly generated password for your camera's Wi-Fi.
For Kodak PIXPRO AZ528:
- Turn on your camera and rotate the mode dial to the Wi-Fi icon.
- Press the Menu button.
- Use the navigational pad to highlight "Change Password" and press the Set button.
- Select "Yes" to generate a new random password.
- The camera will display the new password. Make sure to note it down!
For Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2
- Turn on your camera.
- Press the MODE button to select Wi-Fi mode and then press the SET button.
- Use the navigational pad to highlight "Change Password" and press the Set button.
- Select "Yes" to generate a new random password.
- The camera will display the new password. Make sure to note it down!
Important Notes:
- Remember your new password! Once you generate a new password, you'll need to use the new one to connect your phone or other devices to your camera's Wi-Fi.
- Factory reset: If you reset your camera to its factory settings, the Wi-Fi password will also be reset to its original default.
- Tip: After generating a new password, you'll need to reconnect your phone or other devices to the camera's Wi-Fi using the new password.
Changing the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
You can also personalize the name of your camera's Wi-Fi network.
For Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 and WPZ2
- In any mode, press the Menu button.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the wrench/spanner icon and press the Set button
- Use the arrow buttons to select the Wi-Fi icon and press the right arrow button or Set to enter the menu
- Use the arrow buttons to select "DSC Device" and press the Set button
- Type in your desired new network name (SSID) (up to 17 characters for WPZ2, 18 for AZ528)
- Press the Set button to confirm the changes
Important Note: After changing the SSID, you'll need to reconnect your phone or other devices to the camera's Wi-Fi using the new network name.
