How to Delete Photos and Videos on Your Kodak PIXPRO

Want to make room for more amazing shots on your Kodak PIXPRO? Deleting photos and managing your SD card doesn't have to be a hassle! Here are some simple ways to free up space and keep those memories coming.

Easy Ways to Delete Photos

  • One at a Time: To delete a single photo, just find it in playback mode and press down on the navigational pad to delete the photo.

  • Deleting Multiple Photos:

    • Delete All (In-Camera):

      1. Enter Playback Mode: Press the Play button on your camera to view your photos
      2. Press the Menu button. 
      3. Use the navigational buttons to find the Menu settings and press Set.
      4. Navigate to the right to access the settings and find "Delete". Press Set.
      5. Select "All" and press Set.
      6. Confirm by selecting "Yes" and pressing Set again.
    • Transfer to Your Computer: Connect your camera to your computer and move all the photos you want to keep. Once they're safely stored on your computer, you can easily delete them all from your SD card at once.

    • Format Your SD Card: ⚠️ Heads up! Formatting your card is like giving it a fresh start – it wipes everything clean, including protected files. So, make sure you've saved those precious pics somewhere else first!

      Here's how to format your SD card in-camera:

      1. Press the Menu button.
      2. Use the navigational buttons to find the Menu settings and press Set.
      3. Use the arrow buttons to select the folder icon and press the right arrow button or Set to enter the menu.
      4. Select "Format" and press Set, you will be prompted to Format and that doing so will clear all data.
      5. Select "Yes" and press the Set button to confirm.

Quick Tips to Keep Your SD Card Happy

  • Make it a habit to regularly transfer your photos to your computer or the cloud. This not only frees up space on your card but also keeps your memories safe.
  • Choose an SD card with plenty of storage. If you're a shutterbug, go for a bigger card so you don't run out of room.
  • Take a peek at your camera's manual to see what size/speed SD card it can handle.
