Getting your photos from your camera to your computer is a breeze! Here's a simple guide to help you do just that:
Method 1: Using a USB Cable

Turn on your camera.

Connect the USB cable from your camera to your computer.

A new window should pop up on your computer. This might be called something like "Removable Disk".
- If no window appears, open File Explorer (look for the folder icon on your taskbar or search for it in the Start menu).
- On the left side, under "This PC," look for a new drive labeled "USB Drive".
- Click on this drive to open it.
- If no window appears, open File Explorer (look for the folder icon on your taskbar or search for it in the Start menu).

Locate your photos.
- Look for a folder named "DCIM."
- Open the DCIM folder. You might see another folder with your camera's name; open that too.
- Your photos are inside!

Copy your photos.
- Select the photos you want to save.
- You can either:
- Drag and drop them to a folder on your computer.
- Right-click and choose "Copy," then go to the folder where you want to save them, right-click, and choose "Paste."
Method 2: Using an SD Card Reader (if your computer has one)

Turn off your camera and remove the SD card.

Insert the SD card into the card reader on your computer.

A new window should pop up on your computer.
- If no window appears, open File Explorer.
- On the left side, under "This PC," look for a new drive labeled with your SD card's name or size.
- Click on this drive to open it.

Locate your photos.
- Look for a folder named "DCIM."
- Open the DCIM folder. You might see another folder with your camera's name; open that too.
- Your photos are inside!

- Select the photos you want to save.

- Drag and drop them to a folder on your computer
- Right-click and choose "Copy," then go to the folder where you want to save them, right-click, and choose "Paste."
