  1. Battery Issues:

    • Rechargeable Battery
      • The battery might be completely drained and require a longer initial charging time.
      • The battery could be faulty and may need replacement.
    • AA Batteries:
      • Remember, AA batteries are not rechargeable within the camera. Make sure you are using fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries (e.g., Duracell or Energizer).  

  2. Charging Cable/Adapter Issues:

    • The USB cable might be damaged or faulty
    • The power adapter (if applicable) might be malfunctioning.
    • The USB port on the camera or the power source might be damaged or obstructed

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Battery Type and Status

    • Rechargeable Battery
      • Charging Time: If you're using the camera's built-in charging via USB, allow it to charge for at least a few hours, even if the battery indicator doesn't show any progress initially.
      • Try a Different Battery (if possible): If you have access to another compatible battery, try using it to see if the issue lies with the battery itself.

  2. Inspect Charging Cable and Connections

    • Cable & Adapter:

      • Carefully examine the USB cable for any visible damage or fraying. If you have another cable, try using it instead
      • If you're using a power adapter, make sure it's plugged in securely and working correctly. You can test the adapter with another device.

    • Camera & Power Source Ports:

      • Inspect the USB port on your camera and the USB port or outlet you're using for charging
      • Look for any debris, bent pins, or damage that might be preventing a proper connection
      • If you find any debris, gently clean the port with a soft brush or compressed air

If the camera still doesn't charge:
