The KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 has 4x Optical Zoom and 6x Digital Zoom for a combined 24x Zoom. The zoom indicator on the screen will let you know when you have reached the Optical Zoom threshold and are crossing into Digital Zoom. You may turn off Digital Zoom if you do not wish to use it.
