The FZ41 takes (2) AA alkaline batteries.
The FZ41 comes with (2) AA alkaline "STARTER" batteries. These are included and intended to be enough to power on your FZ41, adjust and customize setting and take several test photos before using for the first time.
We always recommend using name brand batteries for the best possible performance and longevity.
