What batteries does the AZ252 take?

The AZ252 uses (4) AA Alkaline Batteries. 
You will get (4) "starter" AA batteries with the camera in the box. These are only to use for initial camera set up, changing modes, setting time/date stamp and taking a few test shots. 
We recommend only using name brand, high quality AA batteries for best performance and suggest having extras on hand when using your camera.
